04.07.10 - Congratulations to our Prep Op gymnasts that were chosen to represent Louisiana at the Prep Op Regionals in Concord, NC at the end of this month. Click here for the meet results.         We have a competitive girl's team and a competitive boy's team. If a child shows the aptitude for the sport and a willingness to compete, they may tryout for the team. Tryouts are held in the spring. We want this to be a valuable and enjoyable experience, but being a member of this team does require a high level of commitment. The gymnasts train at least six hours per week with the higher levels training up to 15 hours per week. They compete all over the state, usually attending 8-9 meets per year. Our teams have received numerous individual and team awards in the competitions.
