04.07.10 - Congratulations to our Prep Op gymnasts that were chosen to represent Louisiana at the Prep Op Regionals in Concord, NC at the end of this month. Click here for the meet results.         Quality gymnastics instruction for each and every girl and boy is our goal at Guzzy's Gymnastics. We accomplish this by teaching discipline, coordination skills, and strength training with safety being our utmost concern. Our gymnasts are trained by competent and caring coaches. We believe that the skills learned in gymnastics greatly contribute to maintaining a high standard of character in adulthood. We are conveniently located in the heart of Lake Charles right alongside of I-210 at 5th Avenue. We have one of the finest facilities in Southwest Louisiana. It is a fully air conditioned building and is 17,000 square feet in size. Our equipment is all regulation equipment for women and men's Olympic events. We have 3 vault runways, 3 sets of parallel bars, and 9 beams as well as 2 spotting cages for the beams. Our facility is equipped with 2 spring loaded floors (42x42 and 42x54). We have a 40 foot rod floor and a 40 foot tumble track with landing pit. In addition, we have the high bar, pommel horse and rings for the boys. Our facility even has an 8ft. by 24ft. in-ground resin pro pit! In our mezzanine area we have a conditioning area. For our toddlers and tumblebears, we have specialized preschool equipment. We have a viewing area in the lobby as well as a parent's room. A pro shop is on site for your leotard and t-shirt needs.
